Where is Bee’s Wellness Sea Moss Sourced?
The source of our sea moss is the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea and St. Lucia—local divers hand-harvest, clean, and sun-dry the sea moss before packaging. There is no other human intervention or use of chemicals and pesticides. Waters are also monitored and routinely tested.
How do you use Sea Moss gel?
We process our sea moss into a gel. It may be consumed, added to a favorite health beverage, or applied topically in this form. Sea Moss gel can also be used as a salad dressing, dip for fruit, face mask, hair mask, or vegan thickening agent when cooking soups or stews.
How long does Sea Moss last?
Sea Moss has a shelf life of approximately 3-4 weeks. Please use care to avoid cross-contamination. Do not re-dip a spoon into the jar after placing it in your mouth. Sea Moss is not intended to be stored but rather to be consumed. Signs of spoilage include an old pungent aroma, or you will see a mold coating on the top layer. If you find mold or suspect spoilage, please discontinue use.
Can you freeze Sea Moss?
Yes, freezing your Sea Moss gel can dramatically extend the shelf life from three weeks to three months. If you have a lot of Sea Moss gel and are worried about spoiling, we recommend scooping the sea moss into ice cube trays and freezing it. Sea Moss ice cubes are convenient and easy to add to your smoothies, soups, or hot teas. You can even rub them on your face in the mornings to help reduce puffiness, shrink your pores and brighten your skin.
