Celebrating Four Years of Wellness: Bee’s Wellness Café Anniversary

Today, June 1st, marks our fourth anniversary at 3030 Thousand Oaks. I am in awe as I reflect on the incredible journey that has brought us to this moment. June 1st marks a significant milestone for Bee’s Wellness Café, a journey that began with faith, determination, and a vision to create a wellness haven for our community.

Opening Bee’s Wellness Café was no small feat. We received our certificate of occupancy on March 13, 2020, the very day the shutdown was declared. Faced with unprecedented challenges, we leaned into our faith, believing wholeheartedly in our mission to open not just a “CBD shop” but a Wellness Café—a place where people could come for knowledge and resources to aid their healing journey. It was a bold vision, especially when everyone seemed to be getting into the cannabis and “wellness” business, but we stayed true to our calling. Soon, we began to stand out from the rest simply by the knowledge that accompanied our products. 

From the moment you walk through our doors, we think of you as family. Over the years, we’ve witnessed births, celebrated recoveries, and shared in the joys and sorrows of our hive. This sense of community is at the heart of everything we do. Our journey began with a personal quest for healing when I developed a tremor and turned to cannabis for answers. The research that my husband David and I undertook opened up a world of knowledge about the cannabinoid system and the body’s functions and sparked a deeper exploration into the many facets of health and wellness we did not know about. 

Our goal at Bee’s Wellness Café is to share this knowledge with you and empower you to take control of your health. Everything we offer, from our carefully curated wellness products to our flagship Bee’s Wellness Water Soluble CBD, has a purpose and a story behind it. We’ve always believed in providing not just the latest trends but effective, holistic solutions. 

As we celebrate our fourth anniversary, we are filled with gratitude for the continued support of our hive. While we have faced challenges, we have remained steadfast in our belief that we are on a mission. We are not competitors but creators. The heart and soul of Bee’s Wellness Café is rooted in the divine, and we will never sacrifice that for material gain.

Reflecting on our journey, I am reminded of the days leading up to our opening. From doing markets all over San Antonio and beyond to navigating the early days of the pandemic, we persevered with faith and determination. Our grand opening on June 1, 2020, may not have had much fanfare, but it marked the beginning of a beautiful journey that continues to this day.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the possibility of expanding our reach. While we could have opened other locations, we chose to focus on building a solid foundation at our original spot, ensuring that every product and service we offer is of the highest quality. We pride ourselves on rigorous testing and providing our customers with reliable, effective products.
